Why I Chose to Work With MSME Founders (And Why I’ll Never Stop)

Hello leaders,

There’s a reason why I choose to work closely with small business owners, MSME founders, and leaders who are still building their journey.

This reason is not found in any book. It comes from my own life, my home, and my childhood.

🌱 I Come From a Business Family

I was born in a house where business was not a choice… it was a lifestyle. My father runs a food business, and I have grown up watching him handle everything—customers, workers, problems, and growth.

I’ve seen the good side of business… And I’ve also seen the hard side.

I saw my father keep people with him for 15, 18, even 20 years. That’s not normal. Especially in worker-level jobs, people usually leave after 1-2 years. But not in my father’s business.

Why? Because he knew how to treat people well. He knew how to make people feel valued.

That’s the first lesson I learned:

“People don’t stay for money. They stay for how you make them feel.”

⚖️ I Also Saw What Not to Do

My father did everything himself—finance, operations, hiring, service. He was everywhere.

And as I grew older, I realized something:

“If you try to be perfect in everything, you don’t let others grow. You don’t build a team. You only build pressure.”

This was a second important lesson for me: Delegate. Trust people. Build teams.

💼 My Career Taught Me One Thing: People First

Before I started OPEN BOX Consulting, I worked in many roles—trainer, manager, and later as a business head. In each role, I was not just doing work, I was working with people.

Across cities, across departments, across experience levels… I learned that business is not just about money, plans, or systems. It’s about people.

How you develop them. How you grow with them. How you create something together.

🚀 The Turning Point – OPEN BOX Consulting Journey

In 2018, when I tried to scale OPEN BOX Consulting, I faced challenges. I realized: Even though MSMEs are the backbone of the Indian economy, they face the most difficulties.

  • No clear systems.
  • Limited people.
  • Tight budgets.
  • And most importantly — they don’t know how to grow a team.

That’s when I decided:

I want to help MSME founders build leadership skills, strong teams, and long-term business systems.

This is not just business for me. This is personal. This is emotional. This is my story.

🙌 My Mission Now

✅ I work with MSMEs because I understand their struggles.

✅ I know what it’s like to run a business from scratch.

✅ And I know what’s missing — Leadership. People. Culture.

That’s what I bring to the table.
